Error In Winxp

Hi all

I am using winXP for the last 2 years & i am facing a problem now which is as follows :

The windows i open gets closed immediately without my consent. I have to open that particular window once again to complete my work. The windows are of Add Remove Programs, Regional Settings, Microsoft shortcut bar & other windows.

Can u pl help me sort out this problem?

Hi Arunk1512,

Are you using Internet Explorer version 6 or 7?
If you are using IE7, try running it in a No Add-On mode.
Start/ All Programs/ Accessories/ System Tools/ Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)

Also, I would strongly recommend you scan your computer for malware with free programs like Ad-Aware and Spybot - Search & Destroy.
