i've often had an experience where the internet explorer page freezes and turns white then a message window pops up saying internet explorer not responding, giving me the option close program or wait for response (this option never works - i always have to close and restart whatever i am doing). This has happened with my laptop on various internet connections, with different firewall settings and i am running as administrator. This is a particular problem for me because it also happens whilst i am in the middle of playing on online poker which is my only source if income.

Can anyone help me please?

I've known this to happen to the best of us.....Internet explorer isn't the most reliable browser. I would switch to either firefox or opera. I can guaruntee if you switch you will never see internet explorer is not responding ever again!
