I have had my HP dv6000 notebook for about 6 months and have had no troubles with vista besides itunes but that doesnt matter. when i was coming home on the train i was playing one of the the hp games on it for about 3 hours. when i went to shutdown my laptop i clicked shutdown but then the blue screen of death came up and did a dump. my laptop rebotted and then i shut it down. since then every time i type in my password and hit ente my laptop will start to load and then an explorer.exe application error comes up. then it says click ok to terminate. after i click ok it loads, but there is only a black screen and i cant do anything.

please help me i need my laptop for school and i dont know if my warranty covers programs.

thank you very much!!!!

Most warranties don't cover programs. As for the explorer error, we'll need more information about what the error message says. Also, can you get into Safe Mode (as Windows starts to load, press F8) - if so, have a look at your Event Viewer (type it into the Start box) to see if there's any errors in the Windows logs (particularly the System and the Application sections).
