Hi Guys,

I have a computer that is going crazy on me. So far my problems are:

MSN Messenger is messaging people and inviting them to chats and sending links to download.
Task Manager is now disabled by administrator
Run Command no longer exists in the Start Bar
My C: and D: are no longer accessible.
I'm sure there are more problems too.

I used Hijackthis what should I delete to fix this??
I also used Avast and i seem to still get svchost32.exe and another one.
they cannot be deleted or repaired or moved to chest.
please help.

Welcome to the BleepingComputer HijackThis Logs and Analysis forum havokboix
My name is Richie and i'll be helping you to fix your problems.

Click Start/Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs and remove/uninstall MyWebSearch, then restart your pc.

Please download MsnVirRem.exe to your desktop:

* First close any other programs you have running as this will require a reboot
* Double click MsnVirRem.exe to run it
* Once open, click the button labelled "Search and Destroy"
<<Your computer will now be scanned for Infected Files>>
* When scanning is finished you will be prompted to reboot only if infected, Click OK
* Now click the "REBOOT" Button.
* After the Reboot, you WILL receive file not found errors (usually 4) please acknowledge them and continue.
* A Message should popup from MsnVirRem if not, double click the program again and it will finish

Please post the contents of C:\msnvirrem.log into your next reply.

Download Combofix and save to your desktop:
It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop

Close any open browsers.
Double click on combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When it's finished it will produce a log.
Post the entire contents of C:\ComboFix.txt into your next reply.
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running.
That may cause the program to freeze/hang.

Do NOT post the ComboFix-quarantined-files.txt unless I ask.

Also post a new Hijackthis log please.
