Im using AVG & a Firewall program & Spybot.

computer still crashes & freezes.

any help or ideas would help.

If you have any other reason to suspect malware--popups, browser hijacking, etc. follow the instructions below. Let us know the results, please.

Install Super Antispyware. Run it in safe mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Run the online scan for Bit Defender in normal mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Hijack This is used to diagnose malware problems. I don't know if that is your problem. That is why I suggested doing the scans. If you have other information that would point to malware as the cause, let us know.
