My computer is running extremely slow and seems to be over run with pop ups. Every click of internet explorer leads to an unwanted website in addition to the one selected. My son was on community game site called runscape, and the problem seems to have started then. I did a Trend Housecall scan bfore writing this, troj_agent.xtr, troj_tiny.en, troj_vundo.is, adw_ndonet.p, and adw_zeno.bo were all found and could not be cleaned, below is my hijack file.

Yes, you did it correctly. As you can see, some more entries have now shown up that were hiding from us before.
Please download VundoFix to your Desktop.
Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
Click the Scan for Vundo button.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt in your next reply.
Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button" when VundoFix appears upon rebooting.

Please include VundoFix.txt and a new HijackThis log in your next reply.
Thanks,
Charles

Hello again,
Please print off a copy of these instructions, and also save them to a Notepad file on your desktop, so they are easily accessible.
We are going to boot into Safe Mode later in the fix, and there is no internet access.

Scan again with HijackThis and put a checkmark next to each of the following entries (if present):

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {12B08051-49DA-4DEC-BD71-6E9DD5A788FB} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ddcya.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {1989F4E4-412D-6AAA-7C02-3FB6784BFFEF} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\rtedm.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [{47-7D-D5-5E-ZN}] C:\windows\system32\lsdsrngr.exe CHD003
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ExploreUpdSched] C:\WINDOWS\system32\swintmdt.exe CHD003
O4 - Startup: TA_Start.lnk = C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\lsdsrngr.exe
O4 - Startup: Think-Adz.lnk = C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\swintmdt.exe
O23 - Service: DomainService - - C:\WINDOWS\system32\nfqilgpd.exe

Then close all other windows--you should only see HijackThis on your Desktop--and click the Fix checked button.

Please reboot your computer into Safe Mode.
This is done by rebooting Windows and pressing F8 at boot/Windows startup, usually right after the beep.
Then select Safe Mode from the list.
Make sure you choose the option without Networking Support.

Set your system to show all files.
Navigate to Start | My Computer | Tools | Folder Options.
Select the View tab. Under the "Hidden Files and Folders" heading, select "Show hidden files and folders".
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm.

Next, please find and delete the following files (if present):

C:\windows\system32\lsdsrngr.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\swintmdt.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\nfqilgpd.exe

Copy and paste the following text into Notepad:
sc stop DomainService
sc delete DomainService
Save this as "services.bat". Choose to save as *all files and place it on your Desktop.

Download Combofix to your Desktop.
Double click combofix.exe
Follow the prompts that are displayed.
Don't click on the window while the fix is running, because that will cause your system to hang.
When finished, it should produce a log, combofix.txt.

Post that in your next reply.
Thanks,
Charles

Hello again,
Please print off a copy of these instructions, and also save them to a Notepad file on your desktop, so they are easily accessible.
We are going to boot into Safe Mode later in the fix, and there is no internet access.

Please download AVG Anti-Spyware to your Desktop.
Start the set-up program by double clicking the installer.
Follow the on screen instructions to install the program, making sure that "Launch AVG Anti-Spyware" is checked.
Click the Update tab then select Start update; a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
Now press the Scanner icon, and click the Settings tab.
Click Recommended actions, then set it to Quarantine.
Close the program now, we will scan with it later on.

Please reboot your computer into Safe Mode.
This is done by rebooting Windows and pressing F8 at boot/Windows startup, usually right after the beep.
Then select Safe Mode from the list.
Make sure you choose the option without Networking Support.

Next, please find and delete the following files (if present):

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\tkbvjuyj.exe
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\cxrcshem.exe
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\fgbdabmb.exe

Launch AVG Anti-Spyware by double clicking the icon on your Desktop.
Press the Scanner icon.
Then click on the Complete System Scan button.
If any infections are found, you will be asked for an action; select Apply all actions.
Now press the Reports icon at the top.
Choose Save report as and save the text file to your Desktop.
Please post this log in your next reply.

In your next post I would like to see a new Combofix log, along with the AVG report.
Thanks,
Charles

Charles,

Wasn't sure if after deleting the files in safe mode, was the scan supposed to be run in safe mode as well?

Those logs are starting to look good to me. The scan was meant to be run in Safe Mode, I'm not sure if you ran it there or not, but it doesn't really matter.

We need to purge your infected system restore points.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer, then click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab near the top of the window.
Check Turn off System Restore, click Apply, and then click OK.
More information on how to disable your system restore can be found here.

We want to create a new, clean restore point. Please first reboot your computer.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer, then click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab near the top of the window.
Uncheck "Turn off System Restore", click Apply, and then click OK.

Click Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools, and select System Restore.
In the System Restore wizard, select the box next the text labeled "Create a restore point" and click the Next button.
Type a description for your new restore point - Something like "After trojan/spyware cleanup".
Click Create, and after it has created the restore point, click "Close".
Further instructions on creating a restore point can be found here

Then let me know how things seem to be running now.
Thanks,
Charles

Hi Charles,

Things to seem to be running smoothly, the computer still takes awhile to "get going", but maybe I need to clean it up a little, and clean some stuff of the desktop.

When I first got the computer, I got McAfee, I'm not the happy with it, I'm not sure its working right. Do you have any reccomendations so I can prevent this again?

Thanks
