Hi, many Youtube videos are no longer playing properly on my PC and I don't know why, I haven't changed my system at all.
There seems no way to contact YT so can I ask if anybody else is having problems or is it just me?
I've never had probs with YT vids til now, they play for a few seconds, then stop for 20 secs, then play a bit more and so on, stop-go-stop-go, completely unwatchable..

This is a sign of a slow or overloaded internet connection, or just a slow server at YouTube.
Or your download speed is not fast enough to watch videos while they're being downloaded.

Press Pause and wait for a while...until the download progress bar is indicating that the download is complete.

Then hit play and you should have smooth playback of the video.
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.

Hmm...but some of the very same videos that are unwatchably jerky now, had used to be perfectly smooth in the past, eg Jesus of Nazareth, Gene Vincent, Chinewrde Clog Dancers etc..

Check to be sure you have the latest version of Flash Player.

Aha I think I might have cracked it - the 3rd AOL adviser I tried said "clear your browser cache", so I did and it seems to have stopped the jerkiness :)
