I am trying to uninstall a game called Gunman Chronicals so I can free up so space on my hard drive. When I go to the uninstall program and click on remove I get a message saying "cannot open UNINSTALL.LOG" What do I do?

Because the uninstallation cannot complete without the log file, you must manually delete the file.

If you still canít delete the file, try reinstalling the program and then use Add/Remove Programs to completely uninstall the program.
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.

This commonly happens when using the Disk Cleanup wizard or other similar tools. They'll delete .log files automatically. Then, when the uninstall program needs to read the file (for directions on what to uninstall) - it isn't there! So the uninstaller quits because it can't work without it. As TMacK suggests, a reinstall will generally recreate the log files (but not always) and will enable you to uninstall the program.
