Hi guys,

Conneected to my laptop, i have a number of peripherals.

One of these is an external DVD burner, with a built in multi card reader.
When i open my computer, each of the card slots along with the drive itself are allocated a letter.
I also have an external hard drive, and occasionally i will connect my mp3 player, so typically everything will have a drive letter associated with it. C for the laptop hard drive, A for the floppy disc drive, so on and so forth.
Up until recently, my external hard disc has been the F drive.
I had created a number of shortcuts to various folders on this drive as most of my music, phot and video content is on there.
Recently, i found one of my shortcuts didnt work, and it turns out that my computer now wants my F drive to be the K drive.
This causes two problems .. one being that none of my shortcuts work, and second of all, Windows Media Player, doesnt recognise the hundreds of albums i had in my library.
There is currently no drive alloceted to F: so im wondering, is it possible to change the drive letter allocation manually as this would seem to be the easier option to changing the shortcuts and changing the library ??

Thanks very much for your help.
If there really was a god, then why is my ass the perfect height for kicking ???
