Installing Windows Xp Pro

Help I am trying to install Windows xp pro onto my computer that is running windows xp home. I get this popping up ntkrnlmp.exe could not be loaded Error Code 7 . What could cause this, and is there anyway for me to fix this problem. Thanks

Make sure the media is clean of scratches/smudges, etc. If not, take a clean soft cloth and wipe from the center of the media in a straight line to the outside edge - no back and forth!!

thank you for your help, i am going to try and see if it will work. I read the article and it seems easy enough to do .
