When I use a proxy, I often get an error code 405, for instance when I try to log in to certain sites or reply to a blog. Is there any way to get around that error? Those sites work fine without a proxy, so there's not really something wrong with the site as such.

Welcome to Bleeping Computer thoughtless23.

This error message may occur if there is a problem contacting your wireless carrier's Web site or if there are network connectivity problems.

There is nothing wrong with the web site, it is how your browser is configured to connect to the Internet.

Reflect, repent, and reboot.

Thanks for your reply! So basically there's no way for me to access those sites using a proxy?

Just a simple yes or no would suffice

My lack of response was to leave the thread open for other members to have a chance to offer a solution or idea.

If you want to access those certain sites, for now it will have to be without a proxy.
