Evening All
I have run into a problem trying to rip a cd using WMP11
Real player will do it without any problem

Here is the message i get from WMP
Help would be much appreciated
Regards

Windows Media Player cannot rip tracks from the CD correctly because the CD drive settings in Device Manager do not match the CD drive settings in the Player.

I have never before had any problem ripping with WMP.

hey there looks like this post got swept under...

My question to you is what are your computers specs? Check this out to see if you computer is up to the task.

Maybe you have a compatibility issue because WMP is saying something that would suggest the drive i'snt properly configured. Since Real has no issues (right?) maybe you could check here too.
