My 1 year old son pressed the F10 button when my computer was starting up. it automatically went into system recovery mode. it's asking for me to insert the recovery cd but we lost it when we moved last month. pressing escape doesn't help and there is no exit button. is there another way around this?

As long as you haven't done anything in Recovery Mode, you should be able to just power down the computer using the Power button. Then restart to make sure that nothing has become corrupted.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
