I have just found something new on my computer and I don't know what it is or what it does. I have a Dell Inspirion B120. On the left outside edge I have a slot. It looks as though may be able to fit some kind of memory card in the piece that pops out from this slot. It almost looks like what used to be a square shaped floppy disc from the old days. I don't have a lot of computer lingo to help explain what I'm looking at. If you think you can help, I would love to know what this part is and how it can be of use. Thank you. kat

Hi Kat,

Welcome... I was just perusing new posts, and after you do your homework, you might want to describe your pc. Is it a newer one? Mine came witha bunch of slots for memory cards from cameras. If you have a webcam, maybe you could take a pic.. and the description of the case would help the gurus (I am not one). "System" from the Control Panel gives lots of the info you would need to describe your machine if you decide to detail.
