Hello. I unfortunately have windows vista. I know the major problem with my laptop now is smitfraud. I found a guide that told me about smitfraudfix, and tried it. But, smitfraudfix is not working for windows vista! I'm so sad right now. Is there at least an alternative method to get rid of smitfraud? Oh yes, and I've used spybot, superantispyware, hijackthis, ad-aware, spywareblaster, noscript, and adblocker, but it's still there!!! Would someone please help me? I'd be so grateful.

Rogue Remover from Malwarebytes should be able to help with your problems.

Try This:
  • Please download Rogue Remover Free from Malwarebytes.
  • Please save the file to your normal saved file location or the desktop
  • double click on rr-free-setup to run the installation program
  • accept the license agreement.
  • follow all the steps and click finish to run the program
  • Click the check for updates link
  • click the scan link to start scanning
  • when done, follow the onscreen directions to remove anything that it found.
Let us know your results, please.

Thanks for the website, but it didn't work. I don't think it scans for smitfraud. Thank you for the link though!

Rogue remover is used for removing a lot of the fakes that vundo/smitfraud seems to bring in.
