Hi

I used to be able to see thumbnail icons for video clips. However, now i can only see these thumbnail icons for .AVI's.

By thumbnail images, I mean the first video frame of the clip would be the icon.

For WMAs, MPGs, etc, they just show up as an image of whatever program I am using to open them (GOM player, in this case)

I used to be able to see thumbnail icons for all video files... i must have disabled them somehow.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

thanks for the reply TG1911...

thats not really what i meant... what i mean is that when its ALREADY in thumbnails view, SOME extensions show me a thumbnail image, and some dont, even within the same folder...

for example, i have a folder with video clips... some of the files are AVIs and some are MPGs... the ones that are AVIs, i can see the thumbnail image, and it is the first frame of the clip... however, in the same folder, in the same view mode (i.e. thumbnails), the MPGs (among other types) do not show a thumbnail image of the first frame of the clip... instead, it is just the logo for GOM player...

Try this:

Go Start > Run and type "regsvr32 shmedia.dll".
Go Start > Run and type "regsvr32 shimgvw.dll".

See if that solves your problem.
