Hello,

I am getting this message at start up

RUNDLL
error loading cmicnfg.cpl
The specified module could not be found.

THis happened after I deleted a C-Media software with add/remove programmes and reinstalling C-Media AC97 Audio Device Driver

I read from someone that by removing: O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Cmaudio] RunDll32 cmicnfg.cpl,CMICtrlWnd

with HijackTHis software will remove my unwanted message! but I hesitate to remove it because I do not know if it will have other consequences

Is it safe to remove O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Cmaudio] RunDll32 cmicnfg.cpl,CMICtrlWnd ????

Can anyone help??

Thanks, Rooo
