Once you run out of Restore Points there's only one earlier point that you can go to - and that's the one on your Windows Installation disk (either a repair install or a complete format and reinstall).
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

At the risk of insulting your intelligence did you click the back arrow to search for more restore points. I once posted with a similiar situation and had to be told i could do that.

Thanks for your replys, bicycle bill .. you comment ....did you click the back arrow to search for more restore points

This is what I do ...

bring up the welcome to the system restore

check the box ...Restore my computer to an earlier time

click ..Next

this brings up the select restore point page

looking at the restore point calender , the date I would like to go back
to is not shown ..

click ..Back

this then brings me back to the welcome to system restore page ...?

am i missing some thing ...?

Many Thanks Mypenry

I believe that Bicycle Bill is referring to the little arrows on the calendar that shows the restore points - that way you can go back to a different month.
