I have a new Dell Dimension E521 running XP SP2. I am having a problem with the plug and play monitor.sometimes when I log on to the computer, the resolution and color settings reset to the lowest settings, and I have to restart the computer to get it back to normal because it won't let me change it back in settings. I can't figure out what's wrong with it. Any suggestions would be a big help, and thanks in advance.

Have you tried updating your video drivers to the latest version available from the manufacturer of your video chipset? Have you installed drivers for the monitor?

What about changing it back in settings on XP? Does it not let you change it from the lower settings?
There's no place like 0.0.0.0, i'm tired of being at 127.0.0.1
