New to this whole forum thing...spend much time realizing how little I actually have learned about computers since buying this one. Have had moments when I just wanted to smash the darn thing, and then I realize that I am a rational (usually) human being, and there should be a rational, human response to PC problems that do not involve large hammers or open windows. So hi, and I hope some one here will be able to help when I have the irrational response to my problems...in the meantime I'll be clicking along with my PC's for Dummies at my side... :flowers:

Hello misselaineous and Welcome to Bleeping Computer.

Windows XP for Dummies is a great way to get started. Have you picked up the authors other one called 'PCs - The Missing Manual'?

Please check out the New User Orientation section to help get familiarized with how the board works.

There is also a really good Tutorials section that has lots of useful information.
