Uptown Engine Removal

Please somebody out there can you help. I have a uptown engine pop-up which is appearing on my computer every so often. It is advertising card games, screensavers etc. Does anyone know how to remove it. Thankyou.

Welcome to Bleeping Computer sneppilc.

You can try removing Uptown Engine via Add/Remove Programs but chances are it will just return.

Best thing to do is post a HijackThis Log in the in the Hijack and Analysis Forum by following the directions in this link; Preparation Guide for use before posting a HijackThis Log .
Please do not post the log in this forum.
