How To Turn On Firewall In Windows Xp

Dear all

I have window XP operating system.

I have arcor internet connection. When I installed it , by mistake I turned the firewall off.
I want to turn on the firewall. Can anyone guide me how?

I will be very thankful to you.

Go to your Control Panel; find "Windows Firewall."
Doubleclick on the icon to get the "General" tab on the dropdown menu that will show.

Please understand that the XP Firewall will only inspect incoming packets; therefore you may wish to use one of the many free firewalls available to assure you have complete protection and computer security.
Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one should be silent.
