Alright, so here's my delima, i wanna know if there is some kind of option to purchase like a usb adapter that will then connect to an external laptop hard drive...in that sense meaning that just like one of those My Books, etc where you could replace the hard drive in the case with something else...well basically i want something like that just with a laptop hard drive, that way i can hook up laptop hard drives to my desktop through usb.

Does anybody know if this is possible?

Here is a sample of what you are looking. From Cheap to good. If you look around you will find more options.

2.5" USB Drive Cases

If you want to use it as a permanent drive here is another option.

40-pin 3.5'' IDE (F) to 44-pin 2.5'' IDE (M) Adapter
