I've had Yahoo messenger installed for about a month with no problems. Then yesterday it started to were I couldn't edit my avatar. Then today the IM window would pop up and I could see that someone was typing a message but I wouldn't recieve it, also when I would try to send one once I hit return it wouldn't show up in the uper window. I removed all yahoo and tried to download again, it will take me there but when I go to start the download it won't do anything.
Any ideas???
Thank you

Welcome to Bleeping Computer tsa730. :thumbsup:

When you send or receive an instant message and no message appears, you probably have scripting disabled in Internet Explorer.

To enable scripting, Click Tools on your Internet Explorer toolbar and select Internet Options.
Click the Security tab, then click the Internet icon and click the Custom Level button.
Scroll down to Scripting and Enable the following:
* Active scripting
* Allow paste operations via script
* Scripting of Java applets are all enabled

Click the Okay button and restart Yahoo Messenger.
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.
