Is there an inexpensive program or method to network our office in South Carolina to our terminal in PA? We have our in house network, but would like to be able to share files interactively with the one pc we have in our PA office. There are programs out there for remote accessing, but I'm not looking for a master/slave setup. We have a T1 network in SC and just a dialup connection in PA.

The biggest issue here is the dialup connection - if it's not active, then any attempts at remove access won't work. Remote access will require that one PC be the slave and the other the master - but that depends on which one you initiate the connection from.

Alternatives are to save data to an online locate that others can access.

Yeah, I was afraid of that. I guess I'll have to do something web-based, as you said. Maybe something in php. Thanks.

Hello

Have you tried Hamachi? https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/howitworks.asp It sets up a basic VPN.
Regards,

Alan.
