Hi.

Currently we have some computer users using Trilogy EC (Encrypted Communicator)

Description:

TrilogyEC utilizes 256 bit Advanced Encryption Standard ( AES ) cryptography to deliver U.S. military grade security in an instant messenger / chat hybrid program. With the TrilogyEC, you can collaborate with up to 5 people simultaneously in a completely secure environment without the need (or risk) of public servers. (Source and further information...)

I need to block this program from being used. I need to do so using registry hacks, or something like that. Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you kindly for any help.

The software developer has a forum, and it seems questions get replied to rather quickly. I would suggest you ask them there for a more accurate answer.

It seems to use port 80 as a default, but it's rather easy to change the ports (although they can only communicate with others using the same ports if I read the info correctly).

I'd suggest using a firewall with a password to block requests from the program ( C:\Program Files\Trilogy EC\Trilogy_EC.exe )
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
