Trojan In System Restore Files

Somehow a Trojan has invaded my system restore files and no virus program I have (AVG + McAfee) are able to remove it. I even booted into safe mode and tried. Anyone?

What windows are you using?

Windows XP System Restore
Windows Vista System Restore
The name says it all -- 59 and holding permanently
