I'm probably just being paranoid, but HijackThis turned up an unnamed Browser Helper Object in its log:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)

None of my other startup scanners (WinOptimiser3, Spybot Search & Destroy) nor msconfig have turned this up.

Everything else in Hijack's log I can account for, but not this one. Maybe its just a spurious Registry entry.

Anyone have any ideas?

This type of entry is usually because someone/something has fixed the entry and didn't remove the reference to it in the registry.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

You can use Hijack This to remove the entry, but that won't actually change much since the entry can't be used. However, it won't show up again in future Hijack This scans.
