Can't Detect Cd/dvd Drives

I have two DVD-Rw Drives and recently when I try to burn a cd I'm now showing a third drive that never excisted. and for some reason or the other none of my programs seem to be able to comunicate with any of the drives to burn my cd. what should I do?

These are both installed inside the computer case? Do you have any USB devices plugged in? Try removing all 3 in Device Manager, reboot, and let Windows redetect the 2 installed ones
