How do I move saved XP files from the cd to Vista? Knowing my new computer was going to have Vista on it, I transferred some setups and text files to a cd so I could add them to windows explorer and also my "Favorites" to IE. I think I hate Vista.

I made a shortcut to explorer on my XP and could easily move files that way. Vista is confusing. How do I go about moving these files to the right locations and in particular, my favorites and cookies? Obviously, I've only had it a day, but I've tried all day! Thanks!

It would be just copying and pasting for the files like you would in XP. As for the IE setting, I am not sure on how to do that, sorry.

For IE, you'll have to use the import function on the File menu. To see the File menu, click on Menu Bar under the tools setting in IE7
