I cant seem to pin down a problem I am having. I have BulletProof Spyware Remover, Spybot S&D, Spyware Blaster and Spy Sweeper....overkill I know. I also have the Cleaner. The problem is the messages I get from SpyWatch (BulletProof):

6:10:53 PM Warning! Possible Browser Hijack attempt Key detected: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\pluginaccess.com\

6:12:01 PM Warning! Hijacker.CoolWebSearch Key detected: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\coolwwwsearch.com\

6:12:04 PM Warning! Possible Browser Hijack attempt Key detected: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\xxxtoolbar.com\

6:12:06 PM Warning! WurldMedia Key detected: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FENX\

The Domain ones come and go but the FENX one is always there. I can delete it from the registry using a variety of methods but it always comes back. I just cant seem to figure it out and any help would be appreciated. I have looked at the instrictions for getting rid of WurldMedia on the web but cant find the components they say to delete. I'm lost.

Here is my HijackThis log:

BulletProof Spyware Remover is one of those questionable programs, I would suggest uninstalling it.

Try running CWShredder.

http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip

Please download and then unzip the program. Close all open browser windows and run the program. Click the "Fix" button and let it fix everything it finds.

Then Run Hijack this and put checks next to the following items. Make sure you have all browser windows closed and the click "Fix Checked":

R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant =
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

If you are not using this
O2 - BHO: Ipswitch.WsftpBrowserHelper - {601ED020-FB6C-11D3-87D8-0050DA59922B} - (no file)

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7DBCAFD8-A551-42F1-964C-922EF348EAA0} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\dvujksyb.dll (disabled by BHODemon)
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [spywatch] C:\Program Files\BulletProofSoft.com\SpywareRemover\SpyWatch.exe /STARTUP

Reboot, run HijackThis again and post a fresh log please.

Also look for and delete this file
C:\WINDOWS\system32\dvujksyb.dll

I'm off to do all that now, I have already run CWShredder and that was the log posted after running it. It did find something and fixed it. I will do all those again and post a log when I'm done.

The one thing about Bulletproof it that it has found things that SS&D has not and without the spywatch part of the program would not know I had a problem at all....well apart from the fact that I couldnt get to any security sites....duh!! Is Bulletproof giving me the problems in the first place??

No telling with that software. It is pretty much stolen code from both Spybot - Search & Destroy and Ad-aware. Here is Team Lavasoft's oppinion http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index.php?act=ST&f=9&t=3912

Dont appear to be, thanks a million.
The HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FENX\ seems to have gone now, it used to come back but seems to have gone for good...fingers crossed.

Can I ask a question...what are these
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\coolwwwsearch.com\

There's a whole list of them ending in different things i.e. xxxtoolbar.com, pluginaccess.com, are these something I need or is it spyware.
