Hello, I hope some one can help. I have recently upgraded from windows 98 to windows 2000 and now my PC will not switch off automatically. What is the cause and how can I solve this problem?

Are you able to use http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/psshutdown.shtml to powerdown with the '-k' option?
