I recently had to restore my HD and, consequently, lost my Office programs (the working files I have, but the operating system for Office is gone.) Fortunately, I have the Office operating system programs on an external HD and would like to transfer them from the external HD back to the internal HD on my computer. When browsing thru the program files, I notice many folders that contain Office items.

Does anyone know exactly what program folders I should transfer? I'm wanting to be cautious as possible so I don't add something that may cause some other type of problem with my system. (things are running quite smoothly now)

Thank You, Kevin

Simply transferring the Office folders/program files from one drive to another won't work as the registry entries will be missing. You'll need to install Office using the original disk.
