Power Policy Manager unable to set policy: Indicates two revision levels are incompatible

The above message appears whenever I try to adjust the settings of the power scheme. I want to allow the disk to turn off every 10 minutes so as to save power, but because of the above error message I am unable to do so. Any ideas?

I tried the recommended solution but it didn't work. The problem still persists.
