I just wanted to introduce myself. They call me OldTimer. You'll find me hanging out in various help forums around the web. I have been doing computer setup and support work since the TRS-80 days (I still have mine and if any of you know what that is you are dating yourselves) and am continually amazed by how much there is to learn. "The only constant is change".

Since I continually find myself coming here to do research on support issues and have recently started working with HijackThis I thought I should become an official member here. This is a great site and I look forward to learning and helping with what I can.

I hope to meet many of you online to exchange ideas and information.

OT
I do not respond to PM's requesting help. That's what the forums are here for. Please use them so that others may benefit from your questions and the responses you receive.

From the sounds of it, Old Timer your benevolence
in assistance web-wide
will most certainly be appreciated by the members here.

I look forward, as well, to exchanges of information.
Let's grow old together and figure out things about computing.

I hunt & peck on my keyboard with a
disfigured set of fingers on my right hand.

I type slowly & methodically staring at the keys.
Not the greatest style, definitely against
the techniques taught in the Gregg's System.

But, we all work with some handicap.
Sharing knowledge has rarely hurt.
patiently patrolling, plenty of persisant pests n' problems ...

We always welcome any help we can get here at BC, which is where users share their knowledge and try to help one another. Our HijackThis! team of volunteers is very good.
Welcome to BC!
