PLEASE HELP!!! I've tried absolutely EVERYTHING and don't have the $$ to take my computer in to get fixed. I'm infected with a bunch of worms and I've followed all the directions for removal from this site and NOTHING is working! I've even printed off the directions for the new user orientation to scan and remove everything possible from my computer and the virus/worms have infected everything! I'm unable to download Housecall and Panda Anti-virus and when I downloaded Bit Defender I now have the WIN32:VB-ELN worm that pops up every other second from my Avast anti-virus alert. I've tried uninstalling the Bit Defender and I can't find it anywhere! My computer tells me I need to uninstall it under my control panel and it's not there! HELP! I was going to download McAfee AVERT Stinger and it said to disable/turn off my system restore first and my computer won't allow me too! I don't know what to do!!! Following is a list of worms/virus that my computer keeps saying I have...

WIN32:small-GWM [trj]
WIN32:VB-ELN [wrm]...pops up every other second!
WIN32:Adware-gen [Adw]
WIN32:CTX
Worm.IM.Sohanad

and there's a list of more, but those are the ones that keep popping up the most! PLEASE HELP!!!!!

for the avast boot time scan, r click on the avast icon on the desktop, click open, then click on the up arrow ^, on that menu, click schedule boot time scan, another box will pop up, click schedule in the box, and follow directions. you will have to stay by the machine to give input to remove the viruses that avast finds.

aro,
If you wish to post a HJT log for examination, please post it to the HijackThis Logs and Analysis.
That is the proper forum, for HJT logs.

No problem, aro.
I can understand the frustration.
The reason for having you post HJT logs to the proper forum, is to prevent non-HJT trained individuals from posting cleanup suggestions, that could possibly damage your Operating System.

I've done a system boot scan w/my Avast anti-virus and just about every single file is infected with either WIN32:VB-ELN worm or trojan virus...also infected w/Worm.IM.Sohanad. I don't know what to do cuz it tried to repair the files, but said "unable to repair". My task manager is infected along w/my system restart and just about everything on my computer now!!! PLEASE HELP!!! I did a system scan from hijack this and posted it in the proper forum this time. Someone....PLEASE HELP!!! The WIN32:VB-ELN isn't popping up every other second now...instead my whole entire computer monitor is flashing (twitching, glitching, etc). This just keeps getting worse :flowers: I BEG for someone to help me...PLEASE!

aro,

Since you have an open HJT log posted in the HijackThis Logs and Analysis forum, you shouldn't make any changes to your system.
Doing so, could change the results of the posted log, making it difficult to properly clean your system.

At this point, the HJT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

I'm closing this topic until you are cleared by the HJT Team.
If, after your log has been cleaned, you still need help, please PM a Moderator and we will re-open this topic.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send me a PM.
