Hello...I'm Amanda and from Michigan. I'm not the most computer literate, but I can follow directions well. I've used this site before and it's helped me, but now I have a major worm problem that I can't get rid of and I need some serious HELP! I appreciate any help anyone can give me cuz my anti-virus pops up an alert every 2-3 secs and makes it really difficult to do anything on my computer (including writing this!). Have a wonderful day and look forward to any advice/help!

Thank you,
Amanda

P.S. I'm new to this and been trying to post a question for help, but keep getting an error and won't let me post my question! If anyone reads this ...I'm trying to get rid of WIN32:VB-ELN worm, WIN32:Adware-gen [Adw]...I've read the new user orientation and printed it off for reference, but unable to download Housecall and Panda Anti-virus and when I downloaded Bit Defender now I have the WIN32:VB-ELN worm popping up everyother second and I'm unable to uninstall it (nowhere to be found in control panel!) I was going to skip that after having problems and download the McAfee Stinger but unable to turn off my System Restore. PLEASE HELP!!!!! I recently lost my job (developed allergies to the building I was working in) and looking for a new job and really hard to send resumes or do any searches with this stupid worm popping up all the time!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

Welcome to BC!
If you post about your worm problem in the "Am I Infected?" Forum, I am sure our Members can help you out. The more information you can supply about what your Anti-virus says, the sooner we can help you.
Regards,
John
