Modem Problem

I have been recently experiencing problems with my dial up modem I hope you guys could help me with. My modem is not getting a dial tone from the phone line. I have a Gateway 500S. I ran all the troubleshooting and diagnoses given from the computer's data base as well as from the Gateway website. I've checked the phone line into the modem and get a dial tone when I plug a phone into the outgoing phone port on the modem. When trying to connect to the internet I hear the modem click or pick up the line but no tone. I've already changed settings as directed in the troubleshooting and reinstalled drivers. In the properties it shows the modem as functioning properly. So before I replace the modem I thought maybe I would send a Hi-Jack This log to you guys in case it's a bug somewhere. If you still need help please post a fresh HijackThis log and I'll be happy to look at it for you.

A new version of HijackThis has now been released, so before you repost your log please download and install the new version by following the instructions in Step 9 of the Preparation Guide For Use Before Posting A Hijackthis Log. Note that it is unnecessary to uninstall the old version because the new one will be copied to a different folder.
