When I try to open this tool I get a message that my computer encountered a problem yada yada do I want to nuke Microsoft with an error message (again...for the gadzillionth time!). And it closes, naturally. Aside from buying a Mac, is there a feasible solution for this? I hear it's a pretty good tool when you get it to work <not smiling>

Thoughts?

Next time this happens copy down the entire error message and post it back here. This will give us some clues as to what is causing the problem.

I searched around, at the PC Pitstop Web MD discussion board at their own website and am under the impression the programmers are aware of this problem. It is limited to the "Free" on-line scan program, that I know of, at any rate it won't work (run) until they fix it. They say they are "working" on it. We'll see.

There are other freeware replacements that will do the same thing if not better. Check the sticky thread at the top of this forum
