Hi patriot10,

At some point in time you have been infected by the Sasser worm. Symantec have provided a removal tool for this infection which you can find here Sasser Removal. I would like you to run this tool to make sure that all traces of this infection have gone. Also, please run the following online scans to ensure that your machine is clear of other viral/worm infections:
  • Perform a full scan here: Trendmicro, check AutoClean and let it remove anything it finds.

Perform a second full scan here: Panda Online, follow the instructions on the screed, make sure these are checked:
    • Disinfect automatically
    • Scan compressed files
    • Scan e-mail files
    • Neutralize Trojans
Let active scan remove anything it finds.

Perform a full scan here: BitDefender Free Online Virus Scan
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Tick all the boxes on the left and let Bitdefender remove anything it finds.

  • Please make sure that both Ad-Aware and Spybot are up-to-date and run full scans with those programs.

  • Run HijackThis and post a new log here using the Add Reply button. Also, please let me know what problems you are experiencing with your machine and details of other infections that the online scans found.

hi. thank you for all advices :flowers:

the online scan with all 3 antivirus programs worked...all viruses are history  (i hope)

i have scanned my computer with "FxSasser.exe" tool (W32.Sasser.Worm) but there is nothing :trumpet: no trace about any worm :inlove:

and i have scanned with ad-aware and spybot too...now is all fine but i have one more problem:
the Spybot - Search & Destroy find this problem..i press button "fix problems" and program allways fix this problem... but i scan again and this problem is still there  and again and again...

Hi patriot10,

The Sasser removal tool/online scans did remove the remnants of your sasser worm as the entries are no longer showing in your log. The DSO Exploit is a bug that will be corrected in the next release of the Spybot software. This Self Help link explains this a little more and provided we update your Windows System later, you should be alright.
There are a few more nasties in your log that need fixing. You would perhaps be better printing out these instructions now as you won't have access to the Internet when we run in Safe Mode. Please read through the list of instructions and ask if you have any questions before you undertake the tasks:
  • Download killbox here: KillBox Unzip the folder to your desktop. Don't run it now, we will do that later.

  • Please make sure that you can view all hidden files. Instructions on how to do this can be found here:
How to see hidden files in Windows

  • I would like you to submit these three bad files to us for analysis before we delete them:
    • C:\WINDOWS\System32\wtmsv.exe
msmsgv.exe (this file will probably be in the same folder but you will need to check)
srcwin32.exe (this file will probably be in the same folder but you will need to check)
You can submit them from this malware submission link. Please make sure you complete the top two boxes for each file and put "Requested by penmore" in the comments box. Hi patriot10,

You did well with those fixes. There is still one bad one in your log that needs to come out.
  • Run HijackThis
Click on the Scan button and when complete
Put a check beside all of the items listed below

    • O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Windows32 Messenger Service] msmsgv.exe
Close all open Explorer windows and browsers
Click on the "Fix Checked" button
When complete and all files removed, close the application.

  • Reboot your machine, run HijackThis and post a new log here using the Add Reply button. Can you also let me know how the machine is performing now.
