Hello All,
For some reason I am unable to open in MS-DOS. I get an error message of "Access to specific devise denied" Can some one help?

A good thing to do after version updates is clear your Ignore list and re-add them, as the format of detected items sometimes changes.

The different sections of hijacking possibilities have been separated into these groups:

R3 - Created extra registry value where only one should be
F - IniFiles, autoloading entries

You can get more detailed information about an item by selecting it from the list of found items or highlighting the relevant line above, and clicking 'Info on selected item'.

We need a Hijack This log file to be able to analyze what is happening on your computer. If you do not have a copy of Hijack This please follow the instructions in order: (if you have HJT please make certain HJT is in it's own folder and follow instructions 4 to 6)

1. Please go to you're 'My Documents' folder, right-click and select 'New > Folder' and name the folder 'Hijack This'.

2. Download Hijackthis to the new folder from this website:

3. Double Click on 'HijackThis.zip' to extract and install HijackThis.exe to the new folder.

4. Close ALL windows except HJT

5. doubleclick on hijackthis.exe to open it. press the button "do a system scan and make a log file", SAVE LOG. (a notepad window will open with the log in it when you click Save Log) (Ctrl-A to'select all', Ctrl-C to 'copy')

6. POST the log in this thread using 'Add Reply' (Ctrl-V to 'paste')


DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES OR CLICK "FIX CHECKED" UNTIL WE CHECK THE LOG, AS SOME OF THE FILES ARE LEGIT AND VITAL TO THE FUNCTION OF YOUR COMPUTER
