Lately I've been noticing sometimes my computer when I turn it on it will say.

"Disk Boot Failure, Please Insert System Disk And Press Enter"

Well if I turn it off and let it sit there for a couple hours then come back and turn it on it will start up no problem. Any suggestions?

My first suspicion would be a hard drive getting ready to go south. If you know the mfg. of your hard drive, go to their site and download and run their diagnostic tool

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

Well I thought about this and realized it's neva gonna work if my pc doesn't run again. I have a slace hdd but it doesn't have windows on it and has way to much stuff on it for me to just re-format it so I guess it will be a while before my pc runs again. I'ma try restoring that hdd but if it is the hdd going bad guess it won't do no good.
