i have tried to go through the steps of running disk clean up ,adware... but my computer just shuts of durring the scans, i think that it might have something to do with malware/virus altering winlogon.exe, because i used to get that error when my pc would reboot, but now it will just shut off, please help this is very frustrating!!!

Lets try to get this thing running What programs have you tried to use, so far?

Have you tried to run any scans in safe mode yet?

I just want to be sure, is your operating system windows XP?
The name says it all -- 59 and holding permanently

Welcome to Bleeping Computer palsen,

Another important question, what kind of error were you getting when the PC would reboot?
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.
