As I mentioned in an earlier post, I solved all my computer problems regarding spyware,adware,hijackers,etc....after using that software I downloaded.

However, I still have the problem concerning the fact that something got into "my documents" folder and turned all my retained word pad documents into a bunch of Ys and small rectangles. After playing around with the problem I did discover that when I go to "file" and click on "print Preview", then click "next", repeatedly, the pages of Ys and retangles finally shows fragments of the scrambled documents. But I prefer not to have to Print up all those fragments and retype.

Does anyone have a solution that will RESTORE those documents back to the original format and text? Thanks for any advise.

Try this site. It is meant to remove unwanted characters in email so it might work.
