I use a free program called Eraser. I believe the current version is 5.8. This program is a full erasure program and it will make the file un recoverable using normal grade recovery programs. It will delete the file and rewrite over the hard drive space used by the file 35 times. This makes it completely un recoverable. Whats more is the program is free.

OOPS my bad.

Try using if you have it the UBCD (ultimate Boot CD). this has 3 or 4 built in file recovery tools and it will run without interfering in the base OS as it is not running at the time.

I have had some success using this solution. But it is by no means guaranteed.

Ultimate Boot CD [ Current release: 4.1.1 ]

What does it actual do ? I think it is used to recover from "USB memory stick "

I am confused,

Ok! " I have deleted 2 movie file ex: .avi, using key { shift + delete } I just want to recover these two file, the main reason i was asking that i have deleted this file on 1 may 07, { so it is possible to recover this old file }
