I've talk to my internet provider and they said everything was fine on there end. And a buddy pinged my comp so i'm still connected, but can not access the internet. Firewall is disabled. I ran a virus scan, adaware, spybot and turned up nothing. {although they were not updated}. What else can I do?

Some firewalls, even when disabled will still block access, try giving your isp access.Make sure you only have 1 firewall .Remove any previous firewalls you no longer use.

It's probably bad ettiquete for me to refer to a previous thread, but read "like browser hijack but isn't" in this same Windows 95 / 98 / ME group and see if it looks helpful.
There are a number of helpful solutions there.
