I am running XP pro, downloaded some thing off Limewire and it turned out to be an adware program. I installed it without realising what it was but then soon got rid of it. The problem I have is that I can not remember what program it was and it is forever throwing up popups. I have looked in the list of installed programs and there is nothing there that rings a bell, I have installed Superantispyware and it has removed all the items that it has found but it is still happening. I have also installed Smitfraudfix but no joy there. Popup blocker is on but not helping, and every popup that comes up installs more adware. Please help as I am slowely losing the plot and am on the verge of throwing this PC out the window. Just as I was typing this, it just decided to throw up some porn popups which I most certainly don't want.
