Hello all,

On my new HP TX1000 laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium, the mouse cursor keeps alternating between normal, and "working in the background." maybe every half second. This happens even before I log on, when Windows starts. While I can live with it, sometimes it drives me crazy watching it blink.

I have isolated the problem to the tabletinputservice (Tablet PC Input Service). When I stop the service, the cursor blinking goes away. When I start it, it returns. However I cannot leave this service disabled as I DO need the tablet ink recognition etc functions.

Any ideas on how to get rid of the cursor blink?
