You can eliminate Easy Share from your startups by telling it not to start when Windows starts (don't know the exact sequence for this).
IMO the Easy Share software is a burden that your system doesn't need - and you'd be better off uninstalling it through the Control Panel...Programs...Uninstall a Program link. If you must absolutely have certain functions of the Easy Share software, I'm sure that we can recommend some free solutions that will be easier on the computer than the Easy Share software is.
