Well, I started recieving popups and messages from Systematic Antivirus stating that I had Trojan.vundo. The antivirus tried over and over and over to remove the problem, however it never could. I have tried many spyware (spybot, ad-aware, etc.) and antivirus programs and nothing will work. Finally, the antivirus is not popping up with Trojan.vundo messages, but now whenever I startup, I receive an “Error loading C:\Documents and Settings\tlbrown\Local Settings\Temp\pmkjg.dll The specified module could not be found” and I still receive popups when I have an internet browser open. Could someone please help me out? I would really appreciate it. Below is the log file of HijackThis.

Hello,

* Download Combofix to your desktop.
Doubleclick combofix.exe
Follow the prompts.
Don't click on the window while the fix is running, because that will cause your system to hang.

When finished and after reboot (in case it asks to reboot), combofix will open again to gather the necessary information for the log. This may take a bit. When done, Combofix will close and a log should open, combofix.txt.
Post the contents of this log in your next reply together with a new hijackthislog.
Do NOT post the ComboFix-quarantined-files.txt - unless I ask you to.

Hi,

Check and fix next entry in HijackThis:

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [cmds] rundll32.exe C:\DOCUME~1\tlbrown\LOCALS~1\Temp\pmkjg.dll,CreateProtectProc

Delete next folders:

C:\VundoFix Backups
C:\Qoobox

I am not sure what you mean by:

"Check and fix next entry in HijackThis:

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [cmds] rundll32.exe C:\DOCUME~1\tlbrown\LOCALS~1\Temp\pmkjg.dll,CreateProtectProc'

How do I check and fix the entry?

Nevermind. I checked and fixed the entry. I am now downloading the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6u2.

I will let you know how it is going in a little bit.

THANKS!

Well, I have changed what you have told me to, uninstalled old java and installed the updated java. So far, everything is going good. I surfed around on the internet for a little bit to different sites and did not have any pop ups. I also do not have the error when I start up. Thank you very much for your help in resolving this issue. I really appreciate it!!

I am definitely going to be checking out your sights to improve computer speed. My computer runs pretty good, however, my father-in-law's computer could really use some help. I think that his biggest problem is that his computer is old. I am going to go through your tips and see if it will help out.

Thank you again!
